The Photographer

Carlos Johnson. Born on a Caribbean island at 18°30’N 69°57’W. Picked up a camera in May 2004. Moved to Estonia. Now in Ireland.

The Equipment

Digital SLR, 35mm film, medium format, point-and-shoot, iPhone. The variety is the point. Film stand-develops in Rodinal. The lab handles the color film. The camera handles digital. No RAW.

The Website

HTML and CSS sprinkled with JavaScript. Built with simple programs. Tied together in a Makefile. No frameworks, no CMS, no static site generator.
